Durham Writers' Salon at The Mothership Coworking and Event Space
401 W. Geer Street//Every Second Tuesday of each month, 7-9pm
I facilitate this informal salon, which is free and open to the public. No need to sign up -- just show up! Each month is organized around a different theme. We begin the session with a writing prompt, with the option to share our work and discuss writing progress. It's a fantastic way to connect with the local writing community.
I love teaching adult writers and have led classes and workshops at Duke University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), The North Carolina Writers' Network, the Durham County Library and the Seymour Center in Chapel Hill, among others. I am available to visit your college, library, civic center or book club and can tailor classes to fit your needs. Get in touch for inquiries.
