Join the June Writing Circle

Hi writers,

I've been thinking a lot about how much we need community right now and how to make sure we are nurturing our own creativity in the face of so much loss and uncertainty.

So I hatched an idea that’s a little out of my comfort zone: a Writing Circle on Zoom during the month of June. I'd love for you to join.

This is not a workshop group, but an opportunity to spend the month of June in community with other writers, gathering inspiration, generating new material and reflecting.

For four weeks we'll be finding inspiration through readings and exercises, generating new writing by working with reflective writing prompts, sharing our work if we'd like, and connecting with a writing community and with ourselves.

This opportunity is open to adult writers of any experience level, even if you don’t call yourself a writer.

Here’s how it works.

I’m facilitating (4) one hour sessions on Zoom:

Wednesday June 4th, 5:30- 6:30pm ET

Wednesday June 11th, 5:30- 6:30pm ET

Wednesday June 18th, 5:30- 6:30pm ET

Wednesday June 25th, 5:30- 6:30pm ET

Come to all of them or one of them. Suggested donation $15 per session, but I invite you to attend even if you can only chip in a few bucks, or nothing at all. (Donations will be gathered via Venmo, which I will provide the day of the session.)

Sign up here by May 20th. I’ll email you the day before each session with a reminder that includes my Venmo handle and the Zoom link.

If this is not the right opportunity for you, I invite you to send it along to another writer who may be interested.

I hope to see you there!

Allison
