Come see me at Bull City Presents on August 9th!
Hi writers and readers,
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be reading an excerpt of my writing at the next Bull City Presents Reading Series on August 9th, alongside writers James Todd Adcox and Eliza Benbow. I’m thrilled to be included in this vital local series that takes place monthly at Mettlesome Theater. It’s a pretty unique reading series because it’s in collaboration with the improv team Golden Age Comedy, so after the literary reading is done you’re invited to sit tight for the other half of the show, an improv performance by Golden Age.
If you haven’t checked out Bull City Press, get on it. It’s a micro-press out of Durham, NC that sells chapbooks, books, e-books and beautiful broadsides. It’s been on the scene since 2006 and publishes poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction.
The reading is free to attend! I’ve attended this reading series before and I always leave with my creative cup full. I hope to see you there.
Stay up to date with news like this by subscribing to my Substack, the intangibles. That’s always the first place that I share news of events, publications and classes.
